Account Director, Olson Engage
Anne Deanovic is an account director with public relations firm Olson Engage. There, she is responsible for leading communications initiatives from strategy through execution for clients including General Mills, P.F. Chang’s, Royal Canin and Behr. On the Opus Prize Foundation board, she works to strengthen relationships with laureates, universities and students. She is responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic direction to several of the Foundation’s communications efforts, including media relations, university partnerships and digital communications.
Prior to joining Olson Engage, Anne Deanovic served in account management roles with Weber Shandwick and Hill and Knowlton in Chicago, and was public relations director for mono, a Minneapolis-based experiential agency. Prior to joining Opus Prize Foundation, she served for eight years on the Enkel Foundation board and for three years on the Better Way Foundation board. Her interest and commitment to fuel the work of the world’s unsung heroes stems from a mission tip to East Africa she took with Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activity in 2003.
Deanovic earned a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern University’s Medill School and a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana.
